Center Column - Course Topics
As you may have noticed, the center column of your screen contains the substance of your course. You will need to work from the top down as each course is sequential. Any links or directions you need to proceed from one topic to the next will be provided within the course.

Some courses will show a visible block for each course unit within this column. If you find this distracting or do not wish to scroll to the unit in which you are working each time you log in, you can "hide" the other sections of your course. To do this, simply click in the box in the upper right corner of the block you wish to see. All other blocks will be hidden from view.

When you are ready to move on to the next section, change your view to Show All Topics. At that point, you can hide all but the following unit.

Side Columns - Hide Blocks
You also have the option to hide blocks that you don't use or find distracting. For example, you can hide the Calendar block and use only Upcoming Events. To do this, simply click on the upper right corner of the block to be hidden.

The information within the block will be hidden but the block title will remain. Should you change your mind at a later date and decide you want to see the information, click on the + icon that will appear next to the block name. This process will work with all side blocks within your course.
