Jump To
Within each course, there are various ways to move from one topic or assignment to another.

One method is to use the "Jump To" menu. Always located at the upper right corner of each Resource and Activity page is the "Jump To" menu. This provides yet another way to get from one course section or topic to another in those courses which show each unit individually.

Breadcrumb Trail
In addition to using the Jump To menu, you can always navigate the system using the "breadcrumb trail" which will always show at the upper left of your screen. Each part of the system you navigate will show by building to the right. For example, the trail shown below gives the following links (reading from left to right in the trail):

Virtoodle - this is the name of the "Moodle Home Page" (the first screen shown after you log in where you selected your course)

VGB Course - the course name will appear here. This link will take you back to the course main page.

Resources - the section of the course you are in. The link in this example would take you to the course listing of all Resources.

First Things First.... - the screen you are currently on.

Browser "Back" Button
You can always use your browser's "Back" button to return to a section of the course you have already viewed. In courses that present content in a package format, this is perhaps the easiest was to return to the courseunit menu. If the content opens in a new browser window, you can always simply close the window - the course main page will still be displayed in your previous window.
