Quizzes / Surveys

Quizzes
This one is self-explanatory ............. it displays links to all quizzes within the course. In some courses (those that have fully packaged content with only one content link shown on the course main page), this may be the only way to access the quizzes in the course. If this is the case in your course, it will be noted in the instructions for the first quiz within the course content. For other courses which list all content units and assignments individually on the course main page, this is just an additional way to access the links.

Regardless of your course format , each Virtual Greenbush course should show a link in this area to the Acceptable Use Policy. This is not a graded quiz but an agreement as to student behavior and expectations while taking a course with VGB. This "quiz" must be completed in order for course credit to be issued.

To access a quiz, simply click on it's name.

Quiz Listing

All VGB course content quizzes are password protected so that they must be proctored according to your local school district policy. In order to obtain the password for your tests, please ask the person you listed as your School Contact during the enrollment process. This contact will have access to all quiz passwords.

After each set of questions, you will be given 3 basic options: Save without submitting / Submit all and finish / Go to next page.

Quiz Options

Each quiz is limited to one attempt so DO NOT SUBMIT until you have answered all questions and are completely finished. It is best to Save without submitting when you have finished the questions on the page, then click on the (Next) button to continue.

If you should loose your internet connection during a test, you may loose your input. In this case, your instructor or other VGB staff member will need to reset it for you so that you can try again. If you are taking a test that has large essay responses, it is a good idea to print your page when finished so that it can be re-entered easily if necessary.

Surveys
This listing will appear only if the instructor has compiled a course survey in which the students will participate. These are typically ungraded and for instructor reference only so this item will not generally appear in the course.
